The answer depends on the status of your shipment. If your order has yet to be dispatched, you can cancel anytime and receive a full refund. In this case, you can still cancel your order, but we cannot refund your deposit.

Dispatched (driver assigned): No refund

Yes! Just let us know when booking the order. Unless otherwise specified, it’s assumed that the car is in running condition for transport. The typical loading process involves the driver slowly driving the car up the ramp and onto the car hauler. However, if the car is inoperable, a winch will be needed to load it. As not all drivers have this equipment available, informing us of any inoperable vehicles when booking is essential to ensure proper preparation.
You can book your reservation at any time that’s convenient for you. To get the best rates, we recommend booking at least 14 days in advance so that our transport agent can source a reputable driver at a competitive price for you. If you require quick pickup or have specific pickup-date requests, our Express Option can accommodate these needs.
Properly preparing your vehicle for auto shipping includes ensuring that it’s clean and free of debris, all personal items are removed, antennas and GPS devices are taken down, and the sunroof is closed if applicable. Additionally, checking the fluid levels and tires to ensure they’re in good condition will ensure a smooth and successful transport.

There can be many reasons you are getting cheaper offers, not all of which are genuine. Broker companies use bait-and-switch tactics to attract customers with lowball offers to get them on the hook for cancelation fees or last-minute price increases. It’s essential to exercise caution if you come across rates that seem too good to be true compared to other quotes you receive. Rates are influenced by market demand and are typically based on national standards. Underpriced quotes may result in a range of issues, such as the unavailability of a driver, cancellations, lack of insurance coverage, delayed pickup, narrow pickup windows, and drivers with poor ratings.
The average cost to ship a car is $1,190. However, prices can range from $200 to $2,500 or more, depending on the factors mentioned below. Shipping a car requires considering many factors, including the size of the vehicle, trailer type, carrier availability, the distance to be traveled, and pickup & dropoff urgency, which all play a vital role in determining the cost.
The value of your car does not affect the cost of shipping it. The size of your vehicle, the distance it needs to travel, the type of service you need, and your flexibility with pickup and delivery dates are some factors determining the cost of car shipping.
Prices fluctuate daily, but our quotes should be accurate for up to 14 days. However, if there are drastic changes in driver availability or market conditions, we may adjust our prices accordingly.

The carrier’s insurance policy does not cover personal items inside your vehicle. The carrier cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of personal items not part of the vehicle. Although uninsured, they allow up to 100lb of personal items per vehicle.
Here are the steps you should take if your vehicle is damaged during transport:
Inspect your vehicle for any damage before signing the Bill of Lading. If you notice any damage, note it on the BOL and take pictures of it.
Contact the carrier as soon as possible to report the damage. The carrier will then start the claims process.
Be prepared to provide the carrier with damage documentation, such as photos and estimates from a repair shop.
The carrier will work with their insurance company to resolve the claim.
Once the claim is settled, you will be reimbursed for the cost of the repairs.
Please note that any damage to the interior caused by personal items is not covered by insurance. Removing any valuables from your vehicle before shipping is recommended.
See our damage claims form for more information.
If, for whatever reason, you are not able to work with the carrier directly, you will need to request the insurance packet from your transport agent. This packet will have the necessary information to file a claim with the carrier’s insurance.
The carrier’s insurance policy should cover the vehicle during the entire car shipping duration, meaning you don’t have to purchase additional insurance.
While you don’t have to be present for pickup or delivery, someone must be available to sign off on the shipment and retrieve the key from the driver. If you designate someone to sign off on your behalf, you must coordinate with the carrier or transport agent to ensure the correct person receives the vehicle.
To ensure the safety of your order, we suggest booking 1-2 weeks before the desired pickup date. Should you require faster pickup, we offer an expedited service upon request. In cases of emergency, please inform us so that we can accommodate your needs accordingly.
As soon as a carrier is dispatched, you will be notified.
Once you’ve signed a contract with us, your assigned specialist will search for a carrier that fits your unique needs. We can provide relatively quick car shipping through our extensive carrier network of car haulers. Once a driver is dispatched, your agent will provide an estimated pickup time for your order.
Yes! We provide door-to-door shipping services, meaning our drivers will pick up your vehicle at your pickup/delivery address if it’s safe and legal. If the area is not truck friendly, you can always meet the driver at a safe location, as close as possible to your chosen destination.
While we can’t guarantee a specific time frame for every shipment, we strive to deliver your vehicle as quickly as possible. In the event of any delays, you will be kept informed of the situation. Ask your agent about the guarantee options we offer for faster deliveries.
Before signing any legal documents between you and the carrier (such as a Bill of Lading) on delivery, it is essential to inspect your car thoroughly. If you notice any damages, note it on the BOL and take pictures of the damage(s). Please request a copy of the BOL from the carrier before they depart. These will help when you file a claim with the carrier’s insurance company. The trucker certificate of insurance can be obtained from either the carrier or us.
When placing an order, our representatives will provide an estimated transit time. As a rough estimate, drivers can drive up to 500 miles daily. So, for example, if your car is being transported 2000 miles, this could take at least 4 days of transit time. However, considering the loading and unloading of multiple cars and traffic conditions, it could take another few days to complete delivery. This example requires 5-7 days to provide door-to-door service.
Your dedicated transport agent will track your shipping progress and keep you updated. Alternatively, you can call our customer support line, and we will provide updates on the status of your shipment. Moreover, you can use our order tracking form to request an update automatically.
We strongly encourage all our customers to pay the carrier upon delivery, as it is legally required for a trucker to be paid in full for their services. Be sure to contact us immediately if there are any discrepancies between you and the carrier. Rest assured that we are here to help from start to finish.
Yes! We provide door-to-door car transport service for pickup and delivery locations. If your assigned carrier is too big to access your residence, they will try to get as close as possible. The driver will work with you to arrange pickup or delivery at a convenient, well-lit place where their truck can fit, and no trees or powerlines are in the way.
You can cancel anytime before the vehicle has been dispatched and receive a full refund. To dispatch your vehicle, we contract the carrier for your order so they will reserve the spot on their trailer. Once that happens, a TONU (Truck Order Not Used) fee must be paid.
The Bill of Lading (BOL) is a crucial document that must be completed before any cargo can move from one point to another. It serves as a receipt for the cargo, indicates any pre-existing damage on pickup and transport for delivery, and documents any discrepancies after the delivery.
Auto transport brokers have the expertise and experience to secure the best price for your car transport needs. They also have the resources to find a certified and licensed carrier that will ensure that you get reliable service when moving your vehicle!
An auto transport carrier is a company that specializes in transporting vehicles. They typically have a fleet of trucks and trailers to move cars, vans, and other vehicles. Auto transport carriers rely on brokers to find work for their specific routes.
Carrier trucks can get up to 74 feet long, making reaching some narrow streets in residential areas impossible. If your assigned carrier is too big to get into your residential area, they will try to get as close as possible. The driver will work with you to pick up or deliver your vehicle at a more accessible location, such as a shopping center or a plaza.
Yes! We can ship non-running (commonly referred to as inoperable or INOP) vehicles. Please inform your agent that the vehicle is inoperable so that they can find a suitable carrier for you.
With terminal-to-terminal shipping, the customer is responsible for dropping off and picking up their vehicle at a designated terminal. This option is usually less expensive than door-to-door shipping, as the carrier can make a regular trip to pick up and drop off the vehicle without making a special trip to pick up and drop off the vehicle. However, it may take longer, as the carrier needs to wait until their trailer is fully loaded before they can leave.
