The auto shipping brokers are the middlemen between the customers and the actual vehicle shippers. Brokers are many in number and they are always eager to learn about the services of the varied car shipping companies, their services, and the other details that are required to learn about.

An auto shipping broker keeps in mind that you have to make the most of your budget and therefore they find out the best opportunity for you. When seeking out a broker, you are looking to getting good discounts on the transport that you are requesting. What satisfies you at the end of the day is the right budget that rounds off an apt service that you are looking for.

    Follow your instincts

From the auto shipping company’s point of view, a broker takes the responsibility of selling your work to the car transporter, but he does not directly ship the vehicle across long distances. Once he contacts the shipping company with the customer, his job is finished. From there on, the car transporter shoulders the responsibility of shipping your vehicle and any distance you want.

A broker is also not involved in the insurance policy that the company is going to cover for the damages that happen on the transit of your car. Truck drivers are mainly blessed with the brokers since brokers have a wide scale of contact with them and bring work to them. Hence, this makes your task easy as a customer. To sum up all the advantages a broker brings you.

    FAQs

    Is my vehicle insured?2021-01-20T03:58:59-05:00

Yes, your vehicle will be insured against any transport damage caused by driver negligence. Our drivers carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance. Each driver is also required to carry a minimum of $100,000 or move in cargo insurance (depending on the size of the truck the vehicle is being transported on) Enclosed carriers require more cargo insurance.

How do I prepare my Vehicle?2021-01-20T03:58:43-05:00

Please have no more than 1/2 tank of fuel, remove all personal items from your vehicle, repair any chips and/or cracks in your windows and make sure your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions. For additional tips, see our Vehicle Shipping Checklist.

Can I put luggage or any personal items into my vehicle?2021-01-20T03:58:29-05:00

Yes, you are allowed to put up to 100 lbs. of personal belongings in your vehicle. It must be confined to the trunk area and must be well secured. All personal items in the vehicle are placed there at the owner’s risk; they are not covered by the truck’s insurance. We do not recommend packing electronics, breakable items, or valuable items. An additional fee will be charged if you put more then 100 lbs. into your vehicle.

    What are my payment options?2021-01-20T03:58:18-05:00

Cashier’s check, postal money orders, personal checks, or company checks will be accepted for your deposit only. For the remaining balance due, all payments must be made via cash, cashier’s check, postal money order, or official bank check ONLY. No credit cards are accepted for the final payment.

What if my vehicle gets damaged?2021-01-20T03:58:07-05:00

It’s very unlikely that your vehicle will be damaged – but should damage occur, please be sure to note it on the Bill of Lading and have the driver sign it. Claims cannot be processed by the driver’s insurance company if the damage is not noted at the time of delivery.
